UYFC Considers the 10th Constitution Amendment To Be Well Thoughtful

Phnom Penh: Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia announced their support for the National Assembly, which passed by a vote of more than two-thirds of the total number of members on the 10th amendment to the Constitution on July 28.

The Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia considers this amendment to be a "wise all-round consideration to fill the gaps in the Constitution to ensure the protection of political stability and the stability of national institutions to run smoothly and sustainability in all circumstances in order to protect the interests of the nation, the people, especially the youth of Cambodia."

The UYFC is a youth institution created on December 2, 1978 that are directly involved in Cambodia over the past four decades.

The National Assembly of Cambodia fully approved the 10th Amendment of the Cambodian Constitution after opening the 7th Plenary Session of the 6th Legislature on Thursday, July 28, 2022.

All 105 of the 106 lawmakers from the CPP voted unanimously to approve the full passage of the 10th Constitution.

After the law passes, the National Assembly will send it to the Senate for further approval before sending it to the King for official signature.
