MP Sous Yara is Nominated by the IPTP as the Presidential Candidate for 2023

MOROCCO: The Chairman of the Fifth Committee of the National Assembly of Cambodia, Sous Yara, has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) and has also been nominated to the General Assembly as the Presidential Candidate for 2023.

In a statement issued on Monday, 18 July, the General Secretariat of the National Assembly stated that the decision was made during the 10th plenary session of the IPTP, with more than 65 of its 90 member countries in attendance.

It should also be noted that the 10th Plenary Session of the IPTP was held in Rabat, Morocco from 12-16 July 2022 under the theme "Ensuring food security is a prerequisite for global peace and tolerance."
