“Jurassic World: Dominion” Roars to the Cinemas

Phnom Penh: WML and Legend Premium Olympia hosted a high-security screening of “Jurassic World: Dominion” on 8 June 2022 for avid fans of the franchise. Stars from the original Steven Spielberg dinosaur blockbuster joined the new "Jurassic World" cast for the finale in the franchise's second trilogy of movies.

"Jurassic World: Dominion" is set four years after the destruction of the remote island of Isla Nubar, and dinosaurs roam the entire world, living, and hunting among humans.

Actors Laura Dern and Sam Neill reprise their roles from "Jurassic Park" as paleobotanist Dr. Ellie Sattler and paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant respectively, reuniting with their castmate from the 1993 movie Jeff Goldblum, who plays mathematician, Dr. Ian Malcolm.

The movie sees them join forces with Chris Pratt's animal behaviorist Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard's activist Claire Dearing, who have helmed the more recent "Jurassic World" trilogy of films.

Howard and Pratt both said uniting with cast members from the original films had been "incredible."

"Secretly, we were always hoping that maybe they would be OK with what we had done with 'Jurassic World', but them joining the 'Jurassic World: Dominion' is like ultimate validation," Pratt added.

BD Wong, who stars as Dr. Henry Wu in four of the franchise's films, said he loved seeing legacy characters together with Howard and Pratt.

"There are moments in this movie where the factions come together and create a larger group... and at some point, almost everyone is together... there's something really moving about it to me."

Currently, Legend is hosting a competition for fans to win premium items.

"Jurassic World: Dominion" is screening at all cinemas in Cambodia.
