PM: Continued Support for the CPP means that the People Support Peace and Development

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Sen, the President of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), thanked the people who went to the polls and voted for the CPP, while speaking at the Closing Ceremony of the 2020-2021 and the Start of the 2022 Training Courses of the Royal School of Administration on Monday morning, 11 June 2022.

The Prime Minister said the continued support shown by the people for the CPP means that they support peace and development. He further outlined that in the 5th Commune/Sangkat Council Election, held on 5 June 2022, the CPP received the overall support of more than 70% of voters, with 99% supporting the CPP to hold the position of Commune/Sangkat Chief, and more than 80% supporting the CPP to hold positions in the Commune Council.

The constituencies showed strong support for the CPP, which the Prime Minister said supports the party’s policies to promote peace and development.
