Japan Provides Over $3 Million Grant for Human Resource Development Scholarship Project in Cambodia

Phnom Penh: The Government of Japan, through its Embassy in Cambodia, has decided to provide a grant of 363 million yen (approximately US $3.36 million) to implement the "Human Resource Development Scholarship" project.

The donation will be made on Monday 13 June, by the signing of an exchange of letters and related documents by Cambodian Foreign Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Prak Sokhonn and Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, Mikami Masahiro.

This grant from the Government of Japan will make a significant contribution to the Royal Government of Cambodia's efforts to promote the socio-economic and human resource development of Cambodia, as well as further strengthen good cooperation traditionally between the two countries with wine and friendship.
