Cambodia Ranks 2nd in Video Competition to Promote Culture of Airport Security

PHNOM PENH: The State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) has said that the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has awarded Cambodia second place in a video competition to support and promote ICAO security culture.

SSCA Spokesperson, Sinn Chanserivutha, told EAC News that Phnom Penh International Airport is among the top three international airports in the 16-nation competition.

He said first place was awarded to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport in Washington State, USA, while third place went to Václav Havel Airport in Prague, Czech Republic.

The purpose of this competition is to help present aviation security culture effectively in an entertaining and engaging form. ICAO Year of Security Culture is a call for all stakeholders in the global aviation community to develop best practices and implement a strong and effective security culture in their institutions.
