PM and First Lady Call Monks to Hold Ceremony for Hun Neng

Kampong Cham: Prime Minister Hun Sen, First Lady Bun Rany Hun Sen and their family have called monks to do a ceremony dedicated to Hun Neng on the occasion of his passing. Hun Neng was Prime Minister Hun Sen’s older brother and the Chairman of the National Assembly’s Committee on Interior, National Defense and Public Works. He died at the age of 72 from a heart attack on Thursday evening (5 May).

Hun Neng's body is currently being kept at his home in Village 7, Sangkat Kampong Cham, Kampong Cham City in Kampong Cham Province. His body will be buried at Wat Sovankiri Rattanak Phnom Pros, Trapeang Char village, Krala commune, Kampong Siem district, Kampong Cham province on 9 May 2022.
