Kem Sokha sends condolences to PM on Hun Neng's death

Phnom Penh: President of the former Cambodia National Rescue Party, Mr Kem Sokha, sent a message of condolences to the Prime Minister Hun Sen on the death of his brother. Hun Neng, prayed for the soul of Hun Neng to go to the haven.

In a message to the Prime Minister, Kem Sokha wrote: "My wife and I are deeply saddened to learn that His Excellency Hun Neng, Samdech Techo's brother, died of a heart attack this evening, May 5th, 2022, at the age of 72. On this sad occasion, my wife and I would like to share the great grief with Samdech Techo and his family and dedicate our prayers for the soul of His Excellency Hun Neng to go to the haven.

Prime Minister also responded by thanking Kem Sokha for his condolences of the death of Hun Neng.

PM wrote: "On behalf of the whole family I would like to thank your Excellency and Lok Chumteav, for the condolences letter that your Excellency and Lok Chumteave sent to me and my family on this occasion of the great loss of my family. Please, Excellencies and Lok Chumteavs, receive the love and affection from me and my family. "

It should also be noted that Prime Minister's brother, Hun Neng, died at the age of 72 at about 6:25 pm on May 5, 2022 due to a heart attack. Hun Neng's body is currently being kept by his family at his home in Kampong Cham province.

He has been a Permanent Member of the National Assembly and lawmaker for Kampong Cham Province.
