Robinson Catches The Biggest Wave At Margaret River

INTERNATIONAL: Surfers were greeted by wild surf as they fought to qualify from the Round of 32 at the Margaret River Pro in Australia on Tuesday 3rd May

Jack Robinson caught the biggest wave of the day, the Australian scored 14.83 to comfortably defeat Lucca Mesinas of Peru.

Also through to Finals Day is Nat Young of the U.S. who defeated his fellow Californian Jake Marshall in the powerful 10 foot surf.

There was not such good news for another American, 50-year-old Kelly Slater, who was eliminated in Round 3 by veteran Brazilian surfer Jadson Andre.

South Africa's Jordy Smith also went through; he beat Ezekiel Lau of the U.S. to qualify.
