PM Announces Vaccination of Students across the Country

Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen has declared all students nationwide a priority group for the Covid-19 vaccine to protect their health and promote a stronger education for all students.

Speaking at a meeting with A-level students on the morning of 3 May 2022, Prime Minister Hun Sen announced that from now on, the number of shots that the police force and the priority groups get, the students will be vaccinated the same amount.

The Prime Minister: "Our students, boys, and girls are a priority for vaccination. Not only do teachers get it, but students also must get it. "[…] Whatever dose our police officers get, the students must get the same."

According to the Prime Minister, there are more than 3 million students in Cambodia.
