PM Says He Will Organize Luong Me' Hospital into a Cancer Hospital

Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen mentioned it is his intention to organize the Luong Me' Hospital in the future to be a specialized hospital to treat and care for cancer patients.

During a meeting with the Cambodian sports delegation who will participate in the 31st SEA Games in Hanoi, Vietnam on the morning of 28 April at the Koh Pich Theater, Phnom Penh, Prime Minister Hun Sen said that the idea of organizing the Luong Me' Hospital into a specialized cancer hospital is the idea from his daughter-in-law, Mrs Pech Chanmony, and will support this idea.

During the Covid-19 outbreak in March 2021, Prime Minister Hun Sen ordered the government to buy Nokor Tep Hospital, located in Prey Sar commune, Dangkor district, Phnom Penh, after they bought the hospital, the government changed the name to Luong Me' Hospital ingratitude of the Queen Mother.
