Senior Minister Ly Thuch Calls on Employees to Continue Supporting and Voting for the CPP

SVAY RIENG: The Chairman of the Royal Government Working Group of Bavet City, Senior Minister Ly Thuch, has called on all workers and members of the public to continue supporting the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen, and to vote for the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) in the upcoming Commune/District Council elections of the fifth mandate, set to begin on 5 June 2022. He also added that he urges everyone to vote for Prime Minister Hun Sen in the 2023 election and beyond.

The call was made during a meeting with a team of doctors from the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) and workers in the Manhattan Special Economic Zone (SEZ) during the Covid-19 vaccination campaign under the Blossom strategy of Prime Minister Hun Sen on Monday, 25 April 2022.

The event was attended by Svay Rieng MP, Chey Son, Heng Sok Kong, the representative of Hun Many, who is the President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, the Deputy Governor of Svay Rieng Province, Touch Poliva, the Manhattan SEZ Chairman, Clement Yang, and members of the Bavet City Administration.

Mr. Clement Yang expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Prime Minister Hun Sen for taking care of the well-being of the workers in the Manhattan SEZ as well as in Bavet City by sending a team of volunteer doctors who provided free booster vaccines. At the same time, he asked all workers to get vaccinated against Covid-19 at the factory where they are working according to the arrangements of the medical team to help make this campaign a success.

Senior Minister Ly Thuch thanked all the workers who always provide support and confidence to the leadership of Prime Minister Hun Sen through their vote for the CPP. The Senior Minister said he also highly appreciated the participation of workers in ensuring national economic growth and national development through the work of factories and enterprises in Cambodia.

He added that Prime Minister has made every effort and sacrifice for the sake of the motherland and the people of Cambodia, such as the liberation of the country from the Khmer Rouge, the establishment of complete peace throughout the country through the implementation of win-win politics, and especially in the current context of Covid-19, where the Prime Minister has explored all means to attain vaccinations for the people of Cambodia.

The Senior Minister further stated that the Prime Minister's campaign against Covid-19 has been recognized by the world, and the successful results in preventing communicable diseases has allowed the nation return to a sense of normalcy.
