Two Police Officers Killed in Drug Crackdown Operation in Kandal Province

Kandal: Two police officers were shot dead and one injured during a drug bust in Ang Snuol district, Kandal province.

This incident happened on the afternoon of 21 April 2022 in Tuol Prich village, Ang Snuol district, Kandal province, which caused two police officers to be killed by the perpetrators while another was seriously injured.

Ang Snuol District Inspector of Kandal Province, Lt. Gen. Mean Samnang confirmed that the police officers who lost their lives include Chuch Saphea is the police chief of Tuol Prich commune, Ang Snoul district, and Rim Sophanna is the deputy director of the Ang Snoul district drug department.

He said that the drug offenders and some of the five accomplices were immediately arrested down on by the police force.
