Phnom Penh: A member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee and Chairman of the Youth of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party, Mr. Hun Manet, assured how to maintain a favorable environment of peace, stability and access to opportunities to ensure the progress of youth as well as the nation.

Speaking at a meeting with leaders and youth activists of the Cambodian People's Party in Phnom Penh on April 9, 2022, Mr. Hun Manet urged local party officials to continue to unite follow the party guideline to better serve the people and develop the nation to prosper.

He said that the participation of party officials at the grassroots level is a determining factor of the success of the party in the past as well as to maintain the advantage of winning in all elections going forward.

On this occasion, he also mentioned the need to ensure the growth of young people is to ensure a future plan with hope, imagination and stability. He said that youth is a stage of life full of decisions and free choices based on the individual rights that they have to do to develop themselves towards the realization of dreams.

He added: "In this sense, in order for this possibility of success to be realistic, it is essential that young people make decisions by linking those dreams to reality through in-depth consideration of the past and present in order to choose a future. "Properly avoid making decisions that are beyond our capabilities and capabilities."

He reminded the whole forum that the decisions of the youth are very important for the future of the nation and the future of the youth themselves must also be linked to the process of the nation, especially to ensure how to maintain Favorable environment of peace, stability and access to opportunities.

"This is something that our party values the most and strives to maintain at all costs, because it is a work that the party strives to find and achieve the most difficult," he said.

- Peace: Complete peace achieved under the success of win-win politics is something that Cambodia has never had in its history of more than 500 years, and this peace is the basis of achieving national achievements in all areas, including politics, public administration, society, economy, diplomacy, etc. In particular, physical peace also contributes to the building of peace of mind through the provision of all kinds of conditions by the Royal Government to ensure the rights and freedoms of the people, religious harmony and the strengthening of social justice on the ground. Of the rule of law, which is a determinant of the warmth of the people, as well as the development of strong growth and national sustainability.

Stability: Refers to the political and macroeconomic stability that Cambodia has known for more than 20 years and is being further enhanced in line with its vision for the future. In particular, public security issues are also part of stability. We cannot talk about security issues in wartime. Therefore, with the current level of peace, our country's security situation is improving and is being further strengthened through the implementation of a safe village-commune policy.

Opportunity: means the possibility of exercising the right to freedom to develop oneself, support one's family, and participate in the nation-building process. During the war, young people, including children, lost all their opportunities and had no choice but to endure in despair. But now we all have all kinds of opportunities, including learning opportunities, job opportunities and creating all kinds of conditions for the sole purpose of ensuring a real and better future for everyone.
