INTERNATIONAL: The Lusail Stadium, the host venue of the men's football World Cup final, has been purpose-built for the 2022 tournament.
With a capacity of 80,000, it will host six group matches before being one of the chosen stadiums for each knockout round, culminating in the final itself.
The stadium's bowl shape and intricate design is a nod to the decorative motifs found on bowls across the Arab world.
The World Cup draw takes place at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Centre later on Friday (April 1), where the 29 qualified teams - three more will qualify later this year - will learn which groups they are in, all with the hope of reaching the final and gracing the turf of the flagship venue of the 2022 World Cup.
