PHNOM PENH: Australian Ambassador to Cambodia Pablo Kang has informed Prime Minister Hun Sen that Australia will provide 33 refrigerators to store the Pfizer vaccine to Cambodia in the near future, as he directs offerings a special message from the Australian Prime Minister Australia to Prime Minister Hun Sen.
In a meeting with the Prime Minister at the Peace Palace on the evening of April 1, 2023, Pablo Kang paid a courtesy message on Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison to Prime Minister Hun Sen on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Cambodia.
Mr Pablo Kang commented on the meaning of the letter from the Prime Minister of Australia, which was positive and took the opportunity to inform Prime Minister Hun Sen that Australia will provide 33 refrigerators to store Pfizer. Next 2 weeks, Australia will reopen the country, allowing people to travel to Australia without having to take the Covid-19 test again. Exported to foreign countries through AFTA as well.
Prime Minister Hun Sen thanked Pablo Kang for bringing the letter from Prime Minister Scott Morrison. He said that Cambodia always highly valued the countries that recognized Cambodia before Cambodia gained independence, while Australia recognized Cambodia before Cambodia gained independence and was a driving force for Cambodia to gain independence from France.
The Prime Minister also congratulated the Australian Government on controlling the spread of Covi-19 and reopening the country in the next two weeks and thanked the Australian Government for providing the vaccine, vaccine and vaccine refrigerator. Partner cooperation, especially in the field of agro-industry, to boost the production chain for Cambodia's agricultural exports through AFTA.
Finally, he asked Pablo Kang to look into other areas to further expand and strengthen cooperation in Cambodia-Australia relations.
