The Complete List of the Oscar Winners at the 94th Academy Awards

INTERNATIONAL: The stars shone brightly on the red carpet as they gathered for the 94th Academy Awards on Sunday 27 March 2022.

“DUNE” won the most awards of the night, winning in six categories, including Best Cinematography, Editing and Original Score, and other major awards were given to Jessica Chastain, for Best Actress, Will Smith, for Best Actor, Ariana DeBose for Best Supporting Actress, Kenneth Branagh's “Belfast” for Best Original Screenplay and Ryusuke Hamaguchi's “Drive My Car” for Best International Feature Film.

Jane Campion won Best Director for “The Power of the Dog” which also led the pack with 12 nominations. Best Animated Feature went to “Encanto” which the team thanked the country of Columbia for making the movie possible. “The Long Goodbye” and “The Windshield Wiper” won Best Live-Action Short Film and Best Animated Short Film respectively. Best Documentary Fear went to “Summer of Soul”. “The Queen of Basketball” won Best Documentary Short Subject.

Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell won Best Original Song for “No Time to Die.” “Cruella” nabbed Best Costume Design. Best Makeup & Hairstyling went to “The Eyes of Tammy Faye.”

“CODA” won all three awards it was nominated for, in the categories of Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Picture. Troy Kotsur is the first deaf man and second deaf actor to win an acting Oscar. His co-star, Marleen Matlin, was the first deaf actor to win the award in 1986 for the film “Children of a Lesser God.”
