PHNOM PENH: The President of the National Assembly, Heng Samrin, has set the date for the opening of the 7th session of the National Assembly of the 6th legislature, for Friday, 1 April 2022, with four main agendas.
It was decided at the National Assembly Standing Committee meeting held on Friday morning over Zoom video call, that the 7th session of the National Assembly will have four main agendas: reading a message from the King during the opening of the meeting, reviewing the summary report on the activities of the National Assembly between the 6th and 7th sessions of the 6th legislature, electing Mr. Ouch Kim On as a new member of the Constitutional Council for the last nine years, and discussing and approving the draft law on plant protection and phytosanitary.
During the meeting, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly also approved the composition of three secretaries of the 7th National Assembly of the 6th legislature, including Mr. Satyavuth, Mr. Sok Pheng and Mr. Serey Kosal.
