BATTAMBANG: Three Vietnamese were sent to the General Department of Immigration of the Ministry of Interior by the Immigration Planning Police of the Battambang Provincial Police to follow the procedures after they illegally crossed the border from Thailand to Cambodia.

According to the report of the Director of Investigation and Procedure of the Battambang Provincial Police, Colonel Kong Ponda, the provincial immigration force sent three Vietnamese who had illegally crossed the border into Cambodia to the General Department of Immigration on Monday 21 March.

According to the report, on 13 February 2022, the Sampov Loun District Police Inspectorate, in cooperation with Border Police Force No. 819 and other border authorities, received Cambodian workers returning from Thailand at the border in Po Chrey Village, Serey Meanchey Commune, Sampov Loun District, Battambang Province.
