Chinese President receives invitation from PM Hun Sen to visit Cambodia

Phnom Penh: Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay a visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia at an appropriate time. This was confirmed by him at the invitation of Prime Minister Hun Sen on the afternoon of 18 March 2022.

He confirmed to Prime Minister Hun Sen in a telephone conversation on the afternoon of 18 March that he would ask relevant institutions to organize President Xi Jinping's upcoming visit to Cambodia on that occasion, he also invited Prime Minister Hun Sen to visit China in the future as well.

Xi Jinping is currently the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China, as well as chairman of China's Central Military Commission. As president, he once held an informal title as a "Supreme Leader."

It should be reminded that from 13-14 October 2016, Mr. Xi Jinping also paid a two-day official visit to Cambodia.
