Emirati Ship Seen Sinking in Persian Gulf, 29 Crew Members Rescued, One Still Missing

INTERNATIONAL: A United Arab Emirates cargo ship that sank in the Persian Gulf 30 miles from Iran’s Assaluyeh port seen sinking in a video footage, the ship that can be seen on its side in rough water.

Iran’s official news agency, IRNA has said that all but one of the 30 crew members of the cargo ship that was transporting cars, had been rescued adding that operations were continuing to locate the missing team member.

Dubai-based Salem Al Makrani Cargo Company has said that its ship sank as a result of bad weather.
