PM Hun Sen To Attend the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit in Japan in April in Hybrid Meeting

PREY VENG:  Prime Minister Hun Sen will lead a high-level delegation to pay an official visit to Japan for the 4th Asia-Pacific Water Summit 2022, after Khmer New Year holidays in April.

During the inauguration ceremony of SOS children’s village in Prey Veng on Thursday, the Cambodian premier has mentioned about the April summit.

"In April, I will go to Japan to attend a physical meeting on water issues. Technically, the summit was planned to host online, but as the current COVID19 situation eases, the summit will be held in a hybrid format. Therefore, Cambodia will attend physically,” the premier underlined.

In May 2022, the prime minister will also attend the World Economic Forum in Switzerland and he will hold online meetings with various country leaders, including the Japanese prime minister on the future of Asia.
