Cambodia Attends Dubai Meeting on Anti-Doping in Sport

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia attends the 17th Asia/Oceania Region Intergovernmental Ministerial Meeting on Anti-Doping in Sport in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.

The Cambodian delegation was led by H.E. Bou Chumserey, Under Secretary of State at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports

Dr. Ouk Divan, Deputy Director-General of the General Department of Sports, and Head of Cambodia Anti-Doping Agency (CADA) Office Mr. Ith Leng also joined the event.

Taking place from Mar. 14 to 15, the meeting aimed to review the progress and challenges of the National Anti-Doping Organizations in the Asia/Oceania region.

It discussed the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)'s strategic plans 2022-2024, the election process of Asian regional WADA Foundation Board Member 2023, and the Asian financial commission report and 2023 WADA financial contribution.

The report on the outcome of the 8th session of the Conference of Parties to the International Convention against Doping in Sport was also on its agenda.
