No Friendly Football Game for FIFA Day

PHNOM PENH: Cambodian national team do not have a friendly match on FIFA day The Cambodian national team has no plans to hold an international warm-up match during FIFA Day, according to Keo Sareth, secretary-general of the Football Federation of Cambodia

The reason is the federation is pushing for the Cambodian Premier League to have more competition activities, which is also a direction that encourages players to train and play more in the league. The federation wants to make sure the premier league his year succeeds under the format, to be able to do that they need all players to perform in top form.

 FIFA Day is scheduled to take place between March 21 and 30, 2022.
