Tycoon Ly Yong Phat Appointed as PM Personal Adviser

Phnom Penh: A senator from the Cambodian People's Party, who also holds the title of Tycoon, Mr. Ly Yong Phat has been appointed by the King and given the position of Personal Adviser to the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen.

This appointment is through a Royal Decree signed by the King on December 6, 2022.

Born in Koh Kong Province, Cambodia in 1958, Ly Yong Phat became a businessman in the 1980s and eventually became a local businessman and business consultant in 2000 until now. He was elected as Senator of the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia in 2006.
